Trampoline Skills

Trampolining is a lot more than just bouncing.  There are hundreds of different skills to learn.  Here at Huddersfield Trampoline Academy, we follow the British Gymnastics Proficiency Scheme more information about this can be found

The scheme provides a structured and logical framework to learn different skills.  Examples of some of these skills are below.

Shaped Jumps

The three basic shaped jumps are Pike, Straddle & Tuck.

Seat Landings

Seat landings can be performed straight or with a half twist in or a half twist out.

Front Landing

It is really important with front landings that the  arms are the correct position.

Front Landing Half Twist In

These landings can be performed with a half twist ion or out.

Back Landing

Watch for the hip push at the top of the bounce.

Back Landing Half Twist Out

Again this landing can be performed with a twist in or out.
